Mateusz Smoczyński & Vladyslav Sendecki, violín y piano – "Tributo al Jazz Polaco"
El violinista Mateusz Smoczyński, reciente ganador del Premio Fryderyk a Mejor Compositor de Jazz, y el pianista Władysław Sendecki son dos importantes figuras del jazz en Polonia. Ambos cuentan con una importante formación en conservatorios y tienen influencia de la música clásica, pero en sus proyectos han buscado romper las fronteras entre estos dos géneros. En este concierto, interpretarán una muestra de obras que dan cuenta de la escena del jazz en su país.
¿Por qué asistir a este concierto?
· Los dos músicos que participan en este dúo pertenecen a dos generaciones distintas, pero en su historia condensan el pasado y presente del jazz, tanto en Polonia como en Europa.
· Los dos artistas han sido reconocidos por su talento: Adzik Sendecki fue elegido por ‘The New York Village Voice’ como uno de los cinco mejores pianistas de jazz de todo el mundo, mientras que Mateusz Smoczyński ganó el Premio Fryderyk a Mejor Compositor de Jazz y se mueve entre el ámbito de la música clásica y el del jazz.
· Será la oportunidad para conocer obras poco interpretadas del jazz en Colombia, de compositores polacos que han dejado huella en la historia de este género, como Krzysztof Komeda, Zbigniew Seifert y Jan "Ptaszyn" Wróblewski y el mismo Adzik Sendecki
