Basada en la historia bíblica del rey babilonio Nabucodonosor y el episodio de la expulsión de los judíos, esta ópera de Giuseppe Verdi logró convertirse en un relato universal. Los temas de la esperanza y la dignidad de una nación son el telón de fondo para algunas de las arias más conocidas del compositor italiano, como el coro ‘Va pensiero’. Esta versión será interpretada por la Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Colombia, quien estará dirigida por su director titular y artístico: Yeruham Scharovsky.
